WHAT: Chattanooga will host a final send-off for the Spanish National Football Team as they depart the city for Los Angeles ahead of their July 2 World Cup match against Austria. Fans, media, local businesses, and community members are encouraged to gather and give the team a memorable farewell showcasing Chattanooga’s hospitality one last time.

- Fans are requested to arrive no earlier than 3:00 pm
- Send-off gathering: 4:00 pm

As the Spanish National Football Team departs Chattanooga for the final time, the community is invited to come together for a celebratory send-off honoring their stay in the Scenic City. The team will travel to Los Angeles to continue their World Cup journey, with a match scheduled July 2 against Austria.
Fans are encouraged to line Broad Street from the Embassy Suites to Aquarium Plaza to cheer on the team as they depart. Businesses in the downtown corridor are also invited to have staff and patrons step outside to help create an energetic and supportive atmosphere.
At approximately 4:30 pm, representatives from the National Spanish Football Federation will present a commemorative plaque to the host city as a lasting symbol of their time in Chattanooga. This will be a photo and video opportunity only, with no formal remarks.
Attendees are asked to follow all safety guidance, remain in designated areas, and respect team security and traffic direction. Fans should plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00 pm.
